Animefest 2012: Sanjiby *Malindachan

Soooo, if you guys didn't know, I got addicted to One Piece.

I got my first taste of it years ago before it hit the US, and then I watched about a hundred episodes around the time Funimation saved it from 4kids, but I had to stop because college stole all my free time. So when our friends decided to do a One Piece cosplay group together, I started over again this past summer and am currently over 400 episodes in.

I always liked Sanji's character, so that's who I picked to cosplay first. I already had nearly everything I needed on-hand too, so it was cheap and easy.

The button-up shirt was from Goodwill, but I dyed it a slightly darker blue and hand-painted the pinstripes with fabric paint.

I used pants, a tie, and shoes from my closet, and the wig was even recycled from an old costume. I did make the suit jacket though, out of a linin-like black fabric I had leftover from something else. The cigarette is a fake halloween costume prop. XD

I got to doodle on my face with an eyebrow pencil.
