11/1/09 - So it was a difficult process, but we finally narrowed down the entries to the top three plus 3 honorable mentions! I had each of our judges pick their top 5, but we ended up having a 6-way tie XDDD
So after another round of judging, this is what we got:

1st place - with
Clean quality with randomness all around, PLUS it referenced the episode of the original YGO series where Malik was pretending a piece of ruin was a motorcycle XDD

2nd place - with
Very epic manipulation skillz, and very hilarious XDDD

Great job, guys! And thanks to everyone who participated. It was a blast seeing everyone's entries come in, and there was tons of laughs all around. I hope you guys enjoyed them as much as I did ^.^

So here's the prize breakdown:

1st place - a Kuriboh plush made by me
This prize requires me to mail it to you, so just send me your address in a note ^^
If you are uncomfortable with providing an address, tell me ASAP and we can do an alternative prize

2nd place - One of two options here. You can either have a Chibi bookmark request or a cosplay photo request. For the bookmark, it can have up to two characters from a video game or anime. I can do original characters too as long as a detailed description is given. If you would rather have a cosplay photo request instead, it can include , , and/or as any characters we cosplay. Some of our cosplays are retired or need to be redone, so there are a few limitations. We also don't mind fanservice pics as long as they're under a mature rating and not overly awkward.

YU-GI-OH! 5D's "VROOM VROOM" photo manipulation contest!

So we took a funny picture at the Animefest YGO 5D's shoot:



And we thought it'd be funny to make a photo manipulation of some sort with us on our characters' motorbikes.
So I was looking at the photo....then looking at my pile of homework that never seems to go away....yeah....

To save myself from the stress and keep my spirits up, I decided it might be more fun to make a contest of sorts out of this.

Basically, what I want people to do is download this photo, manipulate it in whatever way you want, and send the result to me in a note. If you upload it here on Deviantart (or another website where info is requested), please be sure to give credit to the photographer and cosplayers (which are all listed in the artist's comments box...and please don't remove the photographer's watermark!) and link the original photo in your own comments box.
This can be taken seriously, or it can have a humorous twist (it doesn't even have to be related to motorbikes XD).
Please keep all entries at a PG13 and under level, and please don't add anything offensive.
BE CREATIVE! I'm looking forward to seeing the variety of results :3

I'm not exactly sure what sort of prizes I'm going to release for this yet...it really depends on how many people decide to enter. I was thinking it'd be more like a bookmark/fanart request or a photo request. I might even divide the entries into two categories (serious and humorous) if there are enough in each. I'll add a list of prizes as more entries flow in, but for now, think of ideas and have fun!

I'll post all the entries here and update each time I receive an entry.
