Bravely Default: No Pants Club

...There's a fun story behind this group. XD

Not long after Bravely Default came out, Johnny suggested the idea of doing a group at Dragoncon. We were going to have all the main 4 characters, and we planned to do some really cool costumes (Such as the Dark Knight armor, Edea's Garb, etc)

Summer con season hit hard though, and we were cos-pooped. I had already started on Edea's wig though and still wanted to do some kind of group if it was possible, so I suggested going with easier costumes. Easiest costumes happened to be THESE, and then suddenly it became a thing. And it's ok that we don't have a Tiz anymore, because he doesn't have a "No Pants" costume.

AND THAT'S HOW THE NO PANTS CLUB HAPPENED

Not going to lie; I haven't felt so self-conscious before. I won't go into details on some of the things I experienced while in this costume, but despite the problems, it was thanks to these friends that I had an amazing Dragoncon.

I styled the wigs for everyone! All materials are from Arda Wigs!

My Edea wig is a Matilda with 2.5 packs of short wefts in Platinum Blonde. I call my antenna the "Pringle" and it's a separate piece I made using stiff felt and the wefts, and it's attached to a wire piece that goes under the hairline of the lace front. I cut a small piece out of the lace front itself so it can stick in far enough for the bottom to line up how I like it. Check out my facebook post here for a picture of it before it was glued in place! I plan to curl the back more once I make another Edea costume. I just ran out of time, and it wasn't my highest priority.

The Ringabel wig was a Jareth in Titanium Blonde, and I added pieces from a defective Cady on the sides so it would be like a lace front. I tried to go for a nice balance between the in-game render and the artwork for his style since it's different between the two.

The Agnes wig was a Le Tigre in Dark Brown. I used the render from the opening of the game as a reference.
