Yugioh 5D's: Bruno Borrelli

This cosplay is lots of fun. It's comfy, and I get to be a derp XD

It's been a year since I made this cosplay, but I never really got any good shots of it until Naka-kon last February. My photographer was a bit swamped with work and classes, so I only just recently got the photos from our mini-shoot XD

Costume construction:

The only things I really had to make for this costume were the wig, jacket, and hat. The shoes were from my closet, the yellow undershirt was from hobby Lobby, and the pants were modified from a pair I got from Goodwill.

Wig: Got it for super-cheap from peri-wig.com and styled it myself with got2be hairspray. It looks great in natural lighting, but hates flash photography.

Jacket: Made from Twill and fully lined. Used I'm super proud of how well I tailored it. Used McCall's 5052 as a base, and I had to cut it apart in order to get the duel-colors. Patch was made out of twill, painted with fabric paint, and satin-stitched to the jacket.

Hat: Just used a blank black hat that I got from Hobby Lobby and made the front piece for it. Used Twill, craft foam as an interfacing, and painted on the design with fabric paint.
